UM SO. I kind of need help. Of the "remind me I'm still living in the same reality as everyone else" kind. And also practical advise. Sort of.

So in the last 24 hours ~7000 words of original-characters porn have mysteriously appeared in a google document under my name.

It... is a porn novel! That I am... apparently actually writing down! Unlike the previous one which I did not write down because it was just, TOO RIDICULOUS. This one is... also really ridiculous (J kept being like "so, you're writing your own porn now, huh?" and I was all "no, actually, I'm sort of writing... OTHER PEOPLE'S PORN? Like, this is not my ~seekrit~ deep down fantasy, all-my-kinks porn! I mean this is hot, but it's clearly from someone else's id" BECAUSE I AM WEIRD GUYS. WHO WRITES PORN LIKE THAT. Sometimes things just happen on porn tumblr /o\)

Anyway, it's ridiculous but I'm apparently writing it down. It's poly/kinky/everyone-is-bi because you know, what else do I actually write like, EVER, it's going to end up being roughly 20-25k words, I think, if I ever manage to both write it all down and then edit it to look presentable.

Um. What do I do with this? Any ideas? I'm used to submitting original fiction that isn't porn, but something has led me to believe that novella-length stories (which is apparently how I roll) are more welcome/actually get published in the porn world?

Um, suggestions? I... actually have no idea what to do with this word dump if/when I'm done with and writing into the unknown is a little unsettling. I mean obviously there's always self publishing and so on, but I really don't have the time or energy for that and I was wondering if there was some place that would maybe be interested in something of this length/flavor.

So... concrete suggestions for places to submit this would be welcome.

(Er, also general handholding because seriously SEVEN THOUSAND WORDS of original porn in a setting that, were this fanfiction, I would PROBABLY NOT READ. Because sometimes SPN kink meme and porn tumblr inseminate me with ideas and just /o\ /o\ /o\ WHO WRITES OTHER PEOPLE'S PORN. WHO.)

Hello. I started my backpiece, which is quite exciting for me. It's based on The Snow Maiden, a Russian fairy tale that was later adapted to a ballet by Tchaikovsky. I thought I'd share the progress. Hey all,

1. So I am looking to get my first tattoo. It will be of the word "aleatoric" - since you all have text tattoos, I was wondering if you could recommend any fonts? I am looking for something very simple and modern, type-writer-esque...any ideas?


2. If I like having a tattoo, I am also planning on getting one from my favorite book, "Demian" by Hesse. I think I want it to be a band, with the words wrapped around my upper arm. Do you think it would look tacky to have two connecting bands, almost like a spiral wrapped around my arm? Most I've seen are just one, simple band, but the quote is too long/my arm is too small for that ;D

Last night, Random Order was an opening group. They're generally ska but had a bit of fun with a Jimi Hendrix classic at the end.



The headlining act became (if it wasn't always the plan) Amy's Arms. They debuted a full lineup, featuring for the first time in a few years live percussion instead of a backing track. It was a great opportunity for me to try to get back into the things I usually enjoy doing, like struggling with auto-focus while using the T2i's video capabilities on a fixed lens. The results of that will have to be uploaded on another day, since the bandwidth here is not up to the task.

Of course what I want to do this weekend is Write All The Things. Of course my wrist got fucked up Thursday at work and I can't actually type since then. (Well, barely.)

I can't decide what would be more popular/beneficial to humanity. Me writing a hockey/bandom crossover or posting about my latest exploits on tumblr.

(Speaking of, I NEED TO START LIMITING MY PORN!TUMBLR CONSUMPTION BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP. This is not the first time I've gotten caught up in a vortex of porn only to then spend half the night writing a porn novle. THAT IS NOT A EUPHEMISM. If I absorb too much porn I start needing to synthesize it into a narrative AND THEN I DO and I literally spend hours in bed tossing and turning OBSESSING OVER THE WORD CHOICE of a FICTIONAL NOVEL IN MY HEAD. So congrats to me, I slept like 5 hours tonight but I woke up with another porn novel written, beginning middle and end, in my head. It includes puppy play. I AM SERIOUS about the fact that I synthesize ANY DAMN THING into a narrative even if it ISN'T ACTUALLY MY KINK.)
